Volunteers from the Charity Shop in Javea have made a new donation to the Tapis, the occupational workshop for the mentally disabled that is run by the Department of Social Services.
On this occasion, they donated a sewing machine that students were in need of for their therapeutic activities. Tapis monitor Lola Parron and all the users appreciated the latest gesture on the part of the Non-Profit Association that has demonstrated its loyal support in the past. In fact, earlier this year the Non-Profit donated a computer to the workshop.
The Charity Shop is an association made up primarily of British members who raise funds through the sale of second-hand clothing and items. They use these proceeds to support local causes.
