After their convincing win against Elche, Javea Bulls was hoping to have a 2ndXV match against Denia last Saturday but, due to a first team away game, Denia didn't have enough players which was disappointing after they have had so many new registrations this season.
So without a match, concentration turned to boosting the work rate on the new pitch which is situated behind the Javea Football stadium. This week has seen the repairs completed on the underground irrigation system, the production and delivery of the new "sacred" Bulls Rugby Posts and the delivery and preparation of the new top soil, plus an analysis of the irrigation water so we could choose the corresponding grass seed mixture which would give the Bulls a long lasting and hard wearing playing surface.
The Bulls had a major addition to the coaching team this week and will include a special feature article next week on how the Bulls will be attacking the last 4 league games and their first season's inclusion in the play-offs, which is an amazing achievement.
The next game is this Saturday 30th January; Kick Off is at 4.30pm at the Gandia sports stadium (call 625205125 for directions).
We still want more players to join the club; training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.15pm to 10pm, so come along and join in.
